Is the description of creation in Genesis 1 literal or is it allegorical or even apocalyptic?. If God is timeless why should he rush His work through to completion in just 144 hours?. Could the direct intervention of God be the catalyst to evolution and could therefore evolution have moved at a faster pace than science asumes?. Rather than being contrary to scripture as many suppose could evolution not be more evidence of God’s creativity?

I suppose so, but why would God choose a system in which most organisms die because they’re poorly adapted to their environment. It seems like a pretty poor plan to eventually get to his desired results when he could have simply "poofed" whatever he wanted into existence.

So you mean the fact that 99% of all species died out in the cruel race for survival and procreation was by design? Wow, god must be a bigger bastard than I thought, and I think people who are prone to flood planets score 10 on the bastard scale.

Evolution: Complexity from simplicity.
God is the most complex thing – how does god fit in? God never evolved.

no… its just BS.

The existence of "god" cannot be proven scientifically. All the "intelligent design" people fail to prove anything other than having questions about evolution (and many of the questions have been sufficiently answered – but they’d rather the "controversy" continue).

Genesis 1:24 cannot be reconciled with evolution. This, of course, falsifies Genesis.

nope, that makes it too easy.

Well, if God is perfect and created the world perfect….why would he have to improve on his own creation??? so you’re saying that God was wrong when he first created and figured well jeez…that sucked….lets try again….LOL kind of like matrix……
THIS WAS HYPOTHETICAL AS I DON’T BELIEVE IN GOD.

Evolution is indeed God’s creation and is ongoing.. Do not seek confirmation in bible mythology..Read God’s own words in Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch..God bless

My husband (Christian) believes this…to say otherwise, we feel, puts God in a box. Who knows how this worked? It’s presumptuous to assume we do.
I’m not Christian, but I believed this when I was.

Mankind has misinterpreted the God Yahweh’s time frame of evolution at the beginning of the book of Genesis since the day Yahweh wrote it. Yahweh wrote it in advanced scientific text that He knew we would mistranslate in a religious way until our scientific knowledge advanced or caught up to His to force us to reinterpret this same scripture back into the scientific text He originally wrote it as. This would prove that a scientific mind of a non-human "Intelligent Designer" exists to have known this scientific knowledge that no human knew on Earth to write it at the time it was written and even up to today. And yes, evolution was the God Yahweh’s continuous improvement program for planet Earth which ended with Him creating us the modern human.

Genesis 1 is literal and supported by Exodus 20:11. God created all things in perfection in the beginning and because of Adam’s first sin, the whole world has become corrupted and flawed…..macro-evolution has never been observed….only inferred from micro-evolution based on the false premise of naturalism. And the Law of Biogenesis precludes a natural cause for creation….all life that has ever been observed comes from previous living things so at some point, life must have been created.

Jesus Christ, get over Genesis already. How many times do you have to read it before you realize it is obviously an ancient man’s interpretation of the origins of Earth? It resembles all other creation myths (great spirit creates heavens and Earth, etc), and does not even vaguely resemble the actual cartography of the universe (vast expanse of space, tiny dot of a spherical Earth in a sea of other planets and stars).
Believe in God if you want, be a Christian if you want. But let’s end this charade about the Bible being the word of God. It’s at best a secondhand account from men who spoke with God. At worst, it’s a collection of myths and ancient urban legends.
